The Good, The Bad

I think that I'm really good at painting. Though I rarely do it these days, when I have a paintbrush in my hand it feels very natural and it kind of does what it needs to do. Nothing excites me more than having a solid idea for a painting and then making it happen. It's even more exciting when folks want to actually buy those paintings. It makes me feel really good.

I really wish that I were a better teacher. I think I will always try to do a better job than I did the day before. I wish that class were never boring for my students and that they had fun the whole time they were learning new skills. Maybe that's unrealistic, but I think it would be possible to teach a tech class and have it be really interesting and rarely boring, ever.
